Google will do in the 20’s: 10 historical Indian doodles

Google is 20 years old today. Every year, the company celebrates its birthday on September 27th. And just like the search giant, Google Doodles have scored 20 points this year. It’s been almost two decades since Google “scribbled” its company logo for the first time (August 30, 1998).
The first doodle took place at the Burning Man Festival, where Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin played with the company’s logo to announce their participation in the Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert. The duo placed behind the second “O” in the word Google a stick figure.
The revised logo was intended to send a funny message to Google users that the founders were out of the house. Therefore, the idea of decorating the company’s logo to celebrate remarkable events should see the light of day. And since then, the Google Doodles celebrate important events, inventions, birthdays and deaths of personalities, etc.
According to the company, creating scribbles is now a team of illustrators (doodlers) and engineers. The goal is to revitalize the Google homepage and make Google users around the world smile.
